--------------------------------

Katalyst initiative is that of Third Sector Partners a not for profit company registered under Section 25 of the companies act. As of now we support 32 MERITORIOUS GIRL students from marginalized sections to complete their higher professional education. Our Bangalore centre caters to the entire state of Karnataka and we intend to scale up the number to 50 girl students in the next couple of months.

The core objective is economic emancipation for women from lower socio economic strata. An equally important objective is to enhance the employable workforce, thereby giving India Inc access to a hitherto untapped talent base. Our vision is to transform them into technology leaders and join the management cadre of India Inc. This is done through a combination of interventions that are provided to students who are studying in professional degrees such as Engineering, Architecture, Law, Medicine, Business and Chartered AccountancyOur customized interventions include the following:
1)Providing each student with a computer, internet access and a cell phone2)Mentoring from senior professionals in their sphere of work, is also a mainstay of our initiative as we believe education gives knowledge whereas mentoring moulds attitudes. Hence we align each student to a mentor.
3)Financial support for books, tuition, boarding and lodging, attire, travel, Medical insurance for Katalyst and her mother.4)Hard skills coaching in their core academic curriculum5)Soft skills training for communication and personality development as well as confidence buildingAs we are scaling up our initiative at Karnataka and Maharashtra centres we are in the process of garnering support from likeminded organisations/associations/individuals and individuals who empathise with our vision.
