Hello Wise Women of Sophia,

Our next program this year is on 28 June 2008 (Saturday) 4 pm to 6 pm.

The topic for the day is Personal Styling - I'm sure you all will be very excited about it.

Briefly about Pollyana, our speaker:
---------------------------------------------------

Pollyana's sheer passion for clothes, shopping and people and incredible enthusiasm for the powerful effect of Style and Coaching on an individual's external image, internal image and outlook on life, has driven her to launch Walk in Vogue. Styling and Coaching is not just for celebrities, Walk in Vogue takes a real person through a real journey to enable them to become the person they have dreamt of being but never thought they could be.

Pollyana is a qualified Style Coach and a member of the Style Coaching Association with a real passion for helping people to understand how to work their external and internal image in order to get the best out of themselves. Life is too short for wanting to look great but not knowing how, wanting to feel confident and happy about ourselves but not knowing where to start, dreaming about achieving our ambitions but not knowing what steps to take and ultimately wanting to make the most of ourselves now but unsure how. Pollyana hopes that for each and everyone of you who chooses to Walk in Vogue you will find the answers to your questions and will learn to feel great about yourselves without wondering how.

Pollyana graduated with a BSc(Hons) in Pure Mathematics from a London University, and it is during this period of her life she got her first flavour of Style Coaching as she had the opportunity of doing some catalogue and catwalk modelling. Whilst modelling she got to know many of the trade secrets, and priceless hints and tips on how to make the most of both your internal and external image, and this is something that has remained with her till this day. So often Pollyana is stopped in her path by colleagues, friends and strangers, exclaiming 'Where did you get that!' 'How come I never find anything like that!' and so on. One of Pollyana's much treasured past times is to accompany her friends, colleagues and family on shopping trips in order to give them advice on what to wear and what not to wear. Looking back now, Pollyana now realises this was in fact the very beginning of Walk in Vogue.

Before starting her own Style Coaching Business, she worked many years for a Financial Services Company during which she held many roles including Support & Training Coordinator , Event Organiser during which she was responsible for designing and coordinating events to boost morale of some 1000 members of staff whilst having to work closely with very Senior Management including some at director level, Ran the Project Support Office and played a key role in the Project Management Office.
