How's your chi doing?

Dear Wise women of Sophia,

The next time people ask you about your chi, you can tell them it's in top condition.

This Saturday, 17th March we have an expert instructor Prashant Gupta from the Kadihai Martial Art Academy to lead us through a short and enjoyable introductory session on Tai Chi.

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art form that is hugely popular and much respected the world over. It gives great benefit, increasing our life energy and stimulating our chakras (energy centres of the body), helps us deal with and shed off stress and increasing concentration and even helping us shed off kilos as we do it.

Prashant Gupta has represented Karnataka in the national Wushu Association of India.

Of course, as we always do, after we burn some calories, we'll tuck in to tea and then hopefully burn those calories off with some good old fashioned gossip.

Here are the details of our meetings:

Date: Saturday, 17th March

Time: 4.00-6.00 om

Venue: Ashirwad, St. Marks road.

Dress code: Loose, comfortable clothing

Please do bring along Rs. 100/- to cover costs. And of course, don't forget to call your buddies.

Looking forward to our get together,

For SCESA Bangalore with warm regards,
